lehman wins again

�winner tom lehman beat australia’s peter senior on the second playoff hole to win the regions tradition at shoal creek, lehman’s second major title on the champions tour. the pair tied at 13-under 275, two clear of loren roberts.

�noteworthy lehman has won three of seven champions tour events in 2011. … lehman’s other senior major was the 2010 senior pga championship, also won in a playoff (over fred couples and david frost at colorado gc). … lehman, who now has five senior victories, has a commanding lead in the charles schwab cup points race ( 1,432 to no. 2 nick price’s 698). … third-round leader mark calcavecchia closed with a 75 and fell into a share of fifth place.
