to edge sergio garcia in the
bmw international open.
the pair tied at 16-under
272 before the marathon
sudden-death playoff which
ended when larrazábal two-putted from 66 feet while
garcia missed a four-footer
to extend the battle.
�key stretch garcia,
playing two groups behind
fellow spaniard larrazábal,
took a two-stroke lead
with an eagle on no. 11, his
second in three holes. but
garcia gave it all back, and
more, with three straight
bogeys and he needed a
birdie at the last to force a
playoff.
