the road to success is a short straightaway for some, a meandering journey
for others. bryce molder’s path toward his first pga tour victory definitely has
been the latter, so it was perhaps no surprise, and fitting, that he required six
extra holes at the frys.com open sunday to pull it off. a decade after graduat-
ing from georgia tech as one of the most decorated collegiate golfers ever—
he was a four-time, first-team all-american, an achievement only earned
by gary hallberg, phil mickelson and david duval—molder, 32, had staying
