finished at 17-under 271 to
win for the first time this
year and the second time
in her career. lewis began
the final round two strokes
ahead of brittany linci-
come, who finished t- 4 af-
ter a 72 sunday. but lewis,
who shot 69 on day four,
needed every one of her
four birdies to keep thomp-
son at bay. the 17-year-old
closed with seven birdies
and no bogeys for her first
top- 10 of the year.
